Brad Pitt has released an official statement following the breaking news of his and Angelina Jolie's divorce.
In a statement released to People, Pitt said, "I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well being of our kids. I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time."
Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt and cited irreconcilable differences. According to the documents obtained by TMZ, the actress is requesting for physical custody of the couple's six children.
